Piscinas

A desert of golden sand plunging into the sea
Piscinas beach - Southwest Sardinia

Do you know the sand dunes of Piscina? Get ready to live an incredible experience! Piscinas does not lack natural wonders: the beach with its famous golden sand dunes is indeed remarkable, reaching heights of up to 60 meters, creating a true desert formed by the action of the Mistral wind. From the deep blue sea to the inland, a unique landscape is created, absolutely not to be missed.

Villa Salazar, where the town center is now located, is the historical testimony of the passage of the noble Spanish family of Salazar; in fact, Piscinas became a fief in 1538. The villa was later restored in the 19th century and renamed Villa Bice.
